How do I take a VoiceMap tour?

Before you set off, make sure you've downloaded your tour. You'll find it in the Downloaded folder in your Library.

  1. Open the tour from your Downloaded folder.
  2. Check the starting point shown on the tour cover page. Tap Get Directions to navigate there using Google Maps or another navigation app.
  3. Once you're at the starting point, tap Start Tour. The button becomes active when you're close enough.
  4. Walk the route. The app uses your GPS to trigger audio automatically as you reach each location – you don't need to tap anything.

Bring headphones and make sure your device is charged before you set off.

If you need to stop mid-tour, you can pause for short breaks or end the tour and resume it later – your progress is saved. See Can I stop and resume my tour?
