Why are tours self-guided?

1 min read

A self-guided tour means you go at your own pace. There's no group to keep up with, no fixed departure time, and no one waiting while you linger somewhere that catches your interest.

VoiceMap tours are designed around this. The audio at each stop is complete in itself – you get the full story whether you've spent two minutes getting there or twenty. And because the app handles the navigation, you can focus on where you are rather than where you're going next.

Self-guided also means flexible. You can start when you like, stop for coffee, double back to somewhere you enjoyed, or call it a day and pick up where you left off. See Can I stop and resume my tour?
